Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Breakfast

January 12th, 2017

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday celebrates the life and legacy of a man who brought hope and healing to America. We commemorate as well the timeless values he taught through his example of courage, truth, justice, compassion, dignity, humility and service that defined Dr. King's character and empowered this leadership.

The Dayton VA Medical Center, in collaboration with the Dayton VA Chapter of Blacks in Government (B.I.G.), with the American Federation of Govertment Employees (AFGE Local 2209) and the African American Special Emphasis Committee, together will host a multi-cultural commemorative breakfast in celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the Multi-Purpose Room of Building 305 on the Dayton VAMC Campus.  Cost of the breakfast will be $10.00.  Tickets must be purchased by January 9th.  After the Breakfast there will be a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. program held in the Theater of Building 305.
